The vendor should be able to provide detailed information on caring for each slab. They should be knowledgeable enough to tell you that even if the slabs are imported from the same country, there are other finer details that may require specific attention.

Two common ways of beautifying the granite is either to use a polished finish or a flat finish. Flat finish is also known as honed finish. This type of finish is not particularly recommended.

Honed finish requires from attention over time due to the wear and tear of everyday use. On the other hand, a polished finish is easier to maintain and with lesser effort too. Regular care and proper cleaning is usually sufficient.
